All about Kuching@Meoww City

Assalamualaikum to all..
My entry for today is all about my hometown, Kuching, Sarawak. I'll give you a simple illustration about Kuching for those peoples who never going to my hometown before.=)

Kuching is a state capital of Sarawak. It has everything the discerning traveler could wish for especially the greenery of the town. It could mesmerize those environmental lovers. The location of the town quite unique because it located at the riverbank of Sungai Sarawak. The present of 'perahu tambang' as a alternative transportation to cross the river make it alive. Frankly, the charge for perahu tambang will cost you only 50 cent if I'm not mistaken. Ney mok ncarik tambang murah kedak ya. Some of my friends from Peninsular came to Kuching gave positive feedback about Kuching. They loved to hanging around at the Waterfront with beautiful scenery of Sarawak River. Furhermore, the present of new DUN as a landmark recently create a lovely scenery that attract the citizen even the tourist.

New Sarawak Legislative Assembly Hall (DUN)..amazing right?

Here are more aerials of Kuching city =)

The city greenery was impressive and lovely. We can see the clean river and large urban area. But there are a few peoples from Peninsular still got narrow minded always thinking that Sarawak is undeveloped state. Most of them still saying that the peoples in Sarawak still live in long houses and still wearing the 'cawat'. It's really annoying. But we cant put blame on them 100% because they only can get the information about Sarawak from television and news paper where both media oftenly showing rural area instead of the city in order to promote Sarawak as a destination for holiday. Nevermind, as long as we know what we are used to be =)
Thta's all for now. I'll update my new entry next time i got free time. Good night all =)
